Journaling

Journaling is a way of recording/analyzing/understanding and releasing your thoughts and emotions by writing them down.

 

It is a tool that allows you to breakdown complicated thoughts and feelings that you experience in your daily life. It's a kind of a self-dialogue instrument through which you can express any thought the way you prefer without any judgment.

It is like offloading the chaos inside your head onto a paper in front of you as this offloading will bring comfort and calmness along with an insight to help you understand your emotional triggers.

It is different from the process of recording daily events in a diary. Writing and maintaining a journal for healing is digging a little deeper into your mind by channeling positive and negative experiences into an outlet that creates a meaningful connection with yourself. The outcome of which is improved self-awareness, mental decluttering, healing and a re-trained mind.

There is no right or wrong method, with no rules and boundaries and no specific time to journal down. It is just a genuine habit and a boundless expression of all your notions.
