Helping you transform your life one day at a time
“Any peace talks should begin with making peace with ourselves. First we need to recognize our anger, embrace it, and make peace with it. You don’t fight your anger, because your anger is you. Your anger is the wounded child in you. Why should you fight your anger? The method is entirely nonviolent: awareness, mindfulness, and tenderly holding your anger within you. Like this, your anger will transform naturally.”
― Thich Nhat Hanh, How to Fight

My Approach
I strongly believe that any healing starts with healing one self. We can go on and on blaming people in our lives, but can we really change them? Can we really take our power back from telling them what to do? No, the real healing, the real power comes from within. From a clean, healed heart only love and success flows.
When someone comes to me with their issue, I ask them how does that make you feel? I ask them to connect with their body, locate what, where and how they are feeling and then by guiding them to see the starting or root cause of that pain, we not only heal the energies but the somatics as well. My work as a trauma informed therapist encircles the somatics, that is the physical body.
Many times, we are so engrossed in our heads we do not know that everything is held in the body. If you are going through sleepless nights with anxiety, then opposite to what you think, your anxiety is not in your head but very well in your body. The brain's work is to protect us from dangers and keep us safe. Anxiety could be the brain's way to protect you from a fear that you may encounter. This is not generalized, it's one of the examples that I shared.
Mostly, my clients are mothers who went through postpartum depression, had a difficult childhood or are very angry and irritated at their kids most of the time. When I work with the mothers, I ask them to connect with their child and their inner child. I make them feel the mother bond they didn't have or lost or the mother-baby bond they want in the present. We look into the past, to find our broken selves, bring back all lost energies, heal and integrate.
I also make sure to tell each seeker that if they have been disconnected with their emotions for very long, they may feel overwhelmed during and after the session. However, if there are too many emotions on the surface, then sessions would calm them down every single time!
I also provide them with tools to handle the overwhelm between two sessions.
